A leading mobile app for finding and booking ferry tickets in Greece, Italy, Turkey and Spain with the benefit of ferry tracking as well.

An integrated customer support system that automates manual operations, includes post-booking features, and supports dynamic template replies on top of its chat feature.

VesselMapr

A standalone web and mobile application that tracks vessels in real time, and uses external parameters as well as machine learning to calculate accurate ETA's and more.

VesselMapr Dashboard

A tool used by operators and businesses to track vessel fleets as well as push important updates and information to their customers.

About Us

We are Droplet Tech. We first started out in 2018 with the idea to build and launch the first leading ferry ticket reservation app in the Mediterranean. Our app, NISEA, is pronounced “nisí'' and means Island in Greek.

Over the years, we have expanded our suite of products in the sector, even into B2B, and enriched our in-house libraries. VesselMapr, a vessel tracking tool for businesses,operators, and travellers was spinned-off from NISEA and is now a member of the suite of products we have developed and deployed into the market.

Our tech stack

We use a simple and clean tech stack mostly revolving around JavaScript. This allows our team to be able to work on all sides of the spectrum, plus it's what we know best. We continuously and actively research new technologies and methodologies to add to our stack in order to stay ahead of the game.

NodeJS

We use NodeJS for all our server side applications. Deployed on Azure's webapp.

Firebase

Firebase handles all our push notifications, data storage and authentication system.

React Native

For all our in-house dashboards and systems, we utilise react-native to build our cross-platform applications. React is a must know, for our front-end part.

Typescript

Can't say much about this. Most of our projects is written in Typescript.

MongoDB

Our database choice for some parts in our projects.

Microsoft Azure

Our cloud service for hosting our back-end services, cache system and data.
